Scott Eisenkop, M.D., abused me when I went for a gynecological exam to the Women's Cancer Center in Encino, CA, in November of 2004. I contacted an attorney, who told me to file a complaint with the California State Medical Board, which I did. The Board sent me a letter in February of 2006 saying it completed its investigation, and said they were recommending him for a fine and/or citation.
However, I am chronically ill, and simply filed the letter, feeling too weak to go to court. Last week I found the letter and contacted an attorney who told me the statute of limitations on medical malpractice is one year.
No one told me this before. Why are doctors protected like this, when their victims are always ill and weak to begin with? Why was the statute of limitations set aside for "victims" who say they were abused by dead Catholic priests 30 or 40 years ago, but enforced to protect a live doctor who is still seeing unsuspecting women patients, and whom a Medical Board investigation has already determined to be guilty?
Women, be forewarned! Avoid the MONSTER DR. SCOTT EISENKOP! The state will do almost nothing to protect you.
